2008 has been the best year EVER. I've reconnected with people, met new ones and i've just been trying to stay SUPERpositive even when it's been really hard to. I'm trying not to overanalyze things because in the past that's definitely been my downfall. I know what i'm going to do with my life which is teaching...and I can't wait to go to USF and get things rolling. One day I'm going to be that annoying teacher that's always taking pictures and is more like a cheerleader than just a teacher.
I'm sad that this year is over because it's been so good. Tiffani got married, I became such good friends with Karla and Leslie² :) I road-tripped with my mom through California.....And so much more.....It can't be summed up in just a few paragraphs.
I'm going to try to write more in this in 2009 because keeping things pent up inside only leads to blowups.
In 2009 I want:
My cousin to come home safe from Iraq
The non-believers to give Barack Obama the chance to lead our nation before they spread more hate.
To read a hundred books
To get strait A's my last semester of high school
To get over my fear of living away from home
To get an awesome job that I like
To learn to like Florida a little bit more
To take a million pictures
To MAYBE find my Jim Halpert. hehe.
Get over my fear of speaking spanish and saying something stupid. haha.
To party with my spanish teachers in EUROPE! ;)
To drop my holiday poundage! lol.

I really wish I could hang with my family all the time...But I'm so displaced from everyone. I missed out on growing up with so many people that I love....It really hurts. The fact that my little cousins have to be reminded of who I am everytime they come to visit depresses me like you wouldn't believe.
But I guess I just have to savor every minute with them.

It seems like just yesterday my mom and I were cruising around California with our windows open, blasting our music. Time goes by so fast!!
I had a great semester. Never thought you'd hear me say that, did you? Seeing as I bitched my way through freshman and sophomore year. I had so much fun in all my classes. (Even chemistry....What the fuck, right?) Anyway, i'm looking forward to getting back, just so we can finish the year entirely. I can't wait to pick my classes out for next year and get ready to be a senior. :D
Anyway, I'm having a great winter break and I hope you are too.

Here's to a new year and a fresh start.

I haven't updated in a century but i've been really really busy. I'm having the best summer. I've accomplished something every day. I start and finish a new book almost every other day. I've been job hunting, swimming, planning for next school year (and stressing about AP classes :D). I've been writing every day and it's helping me change and better myself. (who doesn't love a little self-examination?) I haven't turned on the t.v. (except to watch Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert) and I haven't been in a bad mood in a long time. I'm constantly speculating about Harry Potter and I can't wait for the Deathly Hallows!! I've been making the best of every day and it feels really good.
I hope every one else's summer is going well. What have you been up to? I want to know.

You know the ad for Zoloft with the little bouncy guy....and he's all sad and the guy says "Do you not like to do the things you used to?"
He's talking to me....I swear it.
I let this year take over my life. School and books and being a hermit has been my job for the past months.
Being a micro-manager has it's ups and downs.
I'm just ready for summer when i can hang loose and chill for the first time in what has felt like forever.
I truly kicked my own ass this year.
